I'm running an nvidea geforce gtx 1050 ti 4 mb in my macpro 5.1 (mid2012). with macos sierra 10.12.4 and latest nvidea web drivers. after upgrading from a gtx 760ti sc which also worked very well.. Any drivers for any video cards are built into the os, unless the card is specially marked as being mac friendly, in which case you could download and install the driver, but again, this isn't. well good luck to you, evans_dev..
